Typography Guidelines

  • Use Playfair Display for headings and important display text
  • Use Montserrat for body text, buttons, and navigation
  • Maintain consistent font weights: 400 (regular) for body text, 600 (semibold) for emphasis
  • Ensure sufficient contrast between text and background colors
  • Maintain a clear hierarchy with appropriate font sizes
  • Add appropriate line height (1.5 for body text, 1.2 for headings)

Design Guidelines

  • Always maintain a minimum 1-inch (2.5 cm) margin from seams
  • Scale designs proportionally for different shirt sizes
  • For youth sizes, reduce dimensions by approximately 20%
  • Ensure designs are properly centered unless intentionally offset
  • Use vector formats when possible for best scaling results
